i started to notice recently that shin, and other bottoms from bl, they keep saying "no, stop, please stop, enough, wait, slow down, no more" while having sex and the top never listen to them, they just ignore and go rougher, this also happens the other way around, sometimes the top is the one saying stop, but normally the bottom, but anyway, that's really unpleasant for me, it shows how disrespectful one of them is with their partner, not respecting your sexual partner's boundaries is very disrespectful, something that is quite controversial here in king's maker because wolfgang is normally very respectful around shin but when it comes to sex he only thinks about himself, shin keeps saying no and wolfgang ignores, mainly in this third season, and it shows like, the way wolfgang just ignores shin's boundaries and go rougher, it's like it's supposed to be sexy, to make it horny, but it's very unpleasant, very discomforting, not sexy at all

i feel like it would be better if it was made as a horror story and not a smutty yaoi drama

in a lot of omegaverses manhwas, there's always a moment where the author decides to put a scene of sexual violence with the excuse of "he was on his rut", and i really thought in DTR it would be different, but it wasn't. in the 92 chapter ash warn lyle that he might not be able to hold himself back like other times and lyle insist that he can handle it, spoiler, he couldn't.

when i was reading that chapter i thought with myself "oh no, the 'he was on rut' excuse is coming" but i wanted to believe in this author, to believe i was safe with them, but i wasn't. chapter 97, there's a knotting moment, lyle is saying "no" "stop" "it hurts" and ash ignores it.

i know, i know, he warned, he was on rut, and lyle said on the other day he liked the knot (what maked me confused, like, if he was liking it, why was he saying to stop?). but it triggered me, it triggered me cause during this whole story i thought i was safe here, that a scene like this wouldn't happen in any circumstances, and it ruined my entire experience with this story.

this was one of my favorites romantic storys but now every time i think about DTR, that scene pops out in my head and i feel bad, probably cause i've already seen so many of even worse than scenes like this and i'm traumatised. and even without warning? the author could've at least put a warning.

i think the author could've made theses lasts sex scenes differently, i think making it like that was unnecessary.

if you like this story, observe i'm just talking about my experience and criticising the author's choice on the final chapters and not the characters. i understand if you accept the excuses and i didn't get triggered.

that would do a great horror movie, the end is kinda confusing tho, and i think the author focused too much in some rape scenes, like, do we need to see it all? anyway, very creepy but its a 3/5

final of chapter 18, warning of sexual violence, just warning cause no one warned me

such a doubtful consent, i don't think that was consented at all. "even if you say no i'll keep doing it" bro tf? i wanted to enjoy the sex atmosphere but i can't with sexual assault, why can't i find some sexy short bl that the sex isn't basically sexual assault

very sexual, very explicit, too many sex scenes for me, it felt like a porn, i think a porn film script and the full volume script are very similar, but the couple is actually good and well developed if you ignore 70% about of fully sex chapters. but you can clearly see that the authors of this manhwa fetishizes rape, you can see it in beom's dream at the beginning when he dreams about being raped in a train, in that disgusting fanfic that is fully rape sexualization, and when the author decided it was a good idea showing us beom being raped in the imagination of his ridiculous boss, i mean, why show us that? and in such a sexualizated way. i could see how the author loves drawing beom being raped in the characters minds, that made me feel disappointed by the authors cause i really like dowon, beom, dojin and taeju, but their creators obviously enjoy rape, that's a no for me, and about dojin and taeju, their dynamic is immaculated, their story is short but so good, what makes me feel more upset that their were created by people with such horrible mindsets.

i'm not joking when i say i ended this so fast, and not bc it's good, but bc there's no story, there's nothing else being developed, just a bunch of rape scenes with no purpose, scenes that i skipped cause they are just so long and detailed for nothing, and bc i skipped them i ended this in less than one hour.

the way the author makes the characters get hard and cum while being raped, the way they show every movement of the rape, the way they detail the rape scenes, showing us everything explicitly, shows how the author tried to sexualize the rape, instead in showing it as something disgusting it was showed as pornographic. this story isn't about how bad and horrible this situation is but just another horror rape porn
