His true nature is kicking in. It's an extremely stressful situation so for that, his reaction is very "true to Him" but at the same time i think he is one way or another trying to hold back his backlash "emphasis on trying" on Dan . I am actually sympathising with him for one his childhood trauma being public exposed and used by his enemy is absolutely not the ideal situation hence I think in this situation I would like to see Dan be understanding and extend a helping hand to fix jk's mindset before the match and solidify their relationship ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
