I am not into the brooding low-self esteem types. Especially after 40 chapters and there's no real development. She get's into one prediciment, and she broodes, SHES IN ANOTHER ONE and she broodes. SHES not even the main character of this manwha but I know more about her life than the red head. I'VE EVEN FORGOT the MC's name! the MC has way more releastic problems that are fustrating and not a fantasy... I wan to see her get revenege on her brother and parents, I don't care that kang dai has ommited information to her friends for the 50th time because of her low self-esteem.
I don't even know what the plot is after 40 chapters... It feels like a kang dai pity party where everyone helps her and she's just full of self loathing. None of the characters are interesting to me except for the red head.

I was reading on other sites. Good -ish premise? But when she started acting all cute it really fell apart for me. The exaggerated emotions from the FL makes me think why hasn't anyone put her in a mental hospital...
It's not what I usually dig, too aegyo (애교) from the FL. Possibly to show thats shes cute without even trying... but its a bit annoying

The sex scenes feel very forced, with the watch, and it feels like there could be better build up. Sometimes i even forget its a BL until I see a dick in absence of context and chemistry and I and thrusted back into realtiy.
if they either introduced the concept of them having sex earlier (like the dude confesses, or there was already sexual chemistry), because otherwise it just feels like a fan that found his long lost idol and then he had a prophetic dream where he will have sex with him, and then tells the idol **to put on the watch** so he also gets the same dream, and then we're back on the A plot [the BL really does feel like the B plot].
I just want to see them beat this dungeon, I can not give two fucks about the sex anymore.
You're right. It feels forced bcus it is. In the novel, I think there were only 1-2 smut scenes and they're short and in the side stories.
As for the prophetic dream, it happened in the novel too but I can't recall if they had sex. Even if they did, it's only implied and not so jarring like in this webtoon. Thus, I highly recommend the novel!!
Couldn't agree more, the romance part has a good build up imo but the sex scene are indeed coming out from nowhere tbf this is one of the few bls that even without the bl plot, it's still a great story on its own

Yea, the sex scenes in the sides were detailed. I was thinking of the prophetic dreams mentioned in the main story - couldn't rmb if sex was mentioned, implied or omitted.
I mean... you could just skip the s*x scenes. It's not like their revealing important plot points on the d*ck
I feel like it was an artistic decision to adapt it from the novel this way to differentiate this from a bromance, which adds to the anticipation of seeing what other ways they might've adapted it in future chapters. Also, a lot of readers out there are in it for the smut.. even if it was forced, there's a market for it lol
I had to scoop my jaw off the floor when I realized what they'd done compared to the novel. That first scene was NOT expected in the slightest, but now all their interactions have that bit of sub-context that makes it that much more interesting and comedic imo.
