took me a second to figure out but i’m pretty sure it’s because he called eusan’s name. he usually refers to him as sunbae, which is his respectable title and calling him by his first name would probably be considered rude or impolite considering their ages and whatnot, (they’re also not superrrr close and ian is the younger one) which he knows, which is why he believes he said something mean.

I remember Jaekyung in one chapter found Dan’s living quarters disgusting and called it and him ‘pathetic’ but I really hope that since we’re in the topic of back stories, that it gets revealed to Jaekyung how similar he and Dan are, but Dan just got less fortunate in the long run. The way they both built up from their traumatic childhoods, Jaekyung being a champion in his sport, and Dan being able to finish medical school and get a job in the field. However, Dan’s sexual assault from the doctor/ his superior that was mentioned in the beginning of the manwha was the small instance that through his whole life away and everything he built, at 29. And it frustrates me that throughout this whole manwha Jaekyung describes Dan as a crybaby, WHEN DAN WAS WORKING HIS BUTT OFF JUST LIKE HIM. I want so desperately that Jaekyung finds out that Dan broke out of his traumatic childhood only to be sa’d, leading him to accept the only job he could get, which was to be sa’d by him (they did have a contract but there was multiple lines crossed that I’m sure everyone can recognize).
