the novel features a story where wooyeon falls in love with inseop in high school instead and it’s SO funny. in the story wooyeon gets bitch slapped by one of his flings, inseop’s brothers lays a fucking punch on him and his nose starts bleeding and he was just going through it. I think it was so refreshing because wooyeon wasn’t such a flawless person as this was the time he really started navigating his mental illness so he isn’t the poised and perfect wooyeon we know.
and in the main story wooyeon becomes such a yearner!! he says things like “if there was a god i would go on my knees and kiss their feet if that meant ensuring inseop has perfect health” and he starts finding inseops pleasure more important and endearing than his. Like wooyeon does SO MUCH MORE dick sucking then inseop and he starts and admits that his life was to live FOR inseop. He also sacrifices his acting career so he can prioritize inseop

guys I know it’s sad it’s ending but I would say read the novel as it’s quite interesting. After this volume the story introduces a lot more side characters that really develop the story as everything was entirely just inseop and wooyeon and some jenny thrown in there before. The second volume might be a hard read as there is situations and characters that take inseop’s focus off of wooyeon which he has committed to for such a long time. There is a lot of ups and downs as they navigate through communication but they set boundaries (even healthy boundaries) that made the next volumes more healthy and have a LOT more fluff. AND WOOYEON BECOMES THE FINAL BOSS OF YEARNING IN IT
