it's really worth it. if you want to get the gist of it you should watch the anime and then the comic and then read the novel. that was how i started and it was a really good novel. it was long but it didn't really feel like it. it was really funny, had amazing characters and really good plot twists. the slow burn romance was also amazing

It's SO SO GOOD, I'm literally obsessed with it, it's the best slowburn i have ever read (and it's SLOOWW, but in a good way dw) don't expect any smut btw. And the story isn't really focused on them kissing or being lovey dovy, it's more about their entire character and their relationship. They also have the greenest flag relationship EVER like oh my fucking god it's so healthy I love them

I recommend first reading the novel, but watching the donghua could also work (but it isn't finished yet, so you'd have to pick up on the novel at that point)
I don't really recommend reading the danmei first, for me it was VERY confusing who was who and wtf was going on (the art IS banger asf tho, but reading the novel first will make you appreciate it more imo)

once you finish this, mo dao zu shi is also really good its more plot focused but there's some cute moments scattered here and there and its heavy the last few chapters!! (also some elements of horror and angst)
it's a chinese cultivation novel so it may be confusing and it focuses on reincarnation, unfinished business, and enemies to lovers. It's around 200 chapters too

already download the complete epub cause I googled people who read tcgf read it & said it was just as good like what u said. it's on my waiting list currently I'll read it once I'm finished with tcgf, tysm!(づ￣ ³￣)づ
