At first I didn't think too much of it cuz clearly they just had a bit of disagreement, but after giving it more thoughts, I think when it comes to our personal financial problem, it should be kept private, at least until Wo won straighten things out with his dad first. I know how tough wo won's situation was, and to ask for seo an's help would make him look like wo won was somewhat using seo an from an outsider pov. As for Seo an, he was being too impatient, and he was out of line there. However, I also feel without Seo an's help, wo won would never be able to solve his problem as well. So either way, Seo an would be stepping in anyway. If only Seo an chose a different approach, things would be a lot simpler
I would agree with Seo An though. I know it’s difficult for Woo Won to ask for help. Woo Won has been living that way for most of his adult life. However, Woo Won should have told Seo An about his situation as to why he was working for so long. A man like Seo A would definitely help Woo Won not just because they’re together but because no one should have to suffer due to their abusive father. Communication really is important but comprehension to the bigger picture is more important for each other to resolve these issues.
I feel like it would hurt Woo Won’s pride to ask for help. However, he is an adult already that he should have thought about his relationship with Seo A not to hide this kind of issue. Come on, if Woo Won was in Seo An’s perspective, he would have done the same thing. Anyone who has been abused by a parent should speak up. I know it’s difficult, but reaching out for help is the biggest step to deal with.
He did tell Seo An in the 20s chapter range that he had debt collecters so that should tell him why he’s working, he has debt.
It is just that Seo A said it in the wrong way, he was really rude about it, poor choice of words. He isn’t exactly fit to be good partner, with the way he easily lashes out at Woowon and forced him onto the bed, Woowon is the type to let it go and be a doormat.
In woo won's case, I think he wasn't just afraid to ask because of his pride (that actually plays a small part) but his fear of being too dependent and heavily reliant on Seo an for money. Also, he was afraid of how others would view Seo an if they knew about the debts, like those bully scumbags. In other words,they both have each other' best interests in minds, but Seo An was a little bit out of line first which I totally understand.
Not sure how he treated his past partners, but so far I'd say he was trying his best for Woo won's sake and technically he didn't force woo won. That time after meeting the bullies, I'm pretty sure if Woo won said no, Seo An would have been fine with that.
