I read this manhua as a past time, was intrigued and was enjoying the story until Ning Yiyi (the assassin girl) appeared on the scene.
At first, I just thought she was a passing character but she’s not. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
While reading the novel, I got so fed up with her. Her and MC’s relationship started changing so fast. I guess they fell in love at first sight…
There was an arc in the novel where MC got accepted to the Xia Jing Academy unsurprisingly the assassin girl goes there too… then MC started solo raiding dungeons in the school to accumulate school points and money. Then, MC started carrying this assassin girl so she can level up so fast without doing anything. He even raided the same dungeons with her multiple times with nightmare difficulty not like it’ll kill our so OP of an MC just to give all the weapons that the assassin girl needs. Those weapons that he gave her are all rare drops from those dungeons that he raided.
My irritation is that he knew it himself that he would have level up more faster and efficiently if he stopped carrying her. THE MC himself had this thought multiple times yet he still does it….

I’m really so disappointed with the story that even though I was brimming with interest to binge the 1000+ chapters of the novel, but after seeing Ning Yiyi leveling up faster than our MC while being carried is the last straw. I’m here to read the MC leveling up not having romance with an unapologetic girl who takes advantage of our MC to level up knowing he can carry her through the whole journey. Worst part is it’s the MC who lets her be carried while leveling up. He even asked her once why she level up so slow when she’s talented, her reply was « I’m lazy » and he found that scenario cute CUTE???
Ning Yiyi comes from a powerful family, her grandfather is one of the general. So she’s spoiled rotten since she’s a kid.
If I didn’t knew the story I would’ve assumed that Ning Yiyi is the female lead of her own novel u know those blessed FL that have everything and will have everything in their call
Ohhh well that’s the end of my rant since I dropped reading the novel.
Well I mean... I do get you... but they need it to "better showcase" just how op mc is... like bragging that mc can carry her, the others (that paid him) or even a whole party alone without them having to do anything and without mc having to say it himself...

Actually, the “Find my sister” plot is not so important really from what I’ve read.
He started strong from the beginning so no one is his enemy.
His sister was also a genius as well.
She went to the academy where the MC is attending right now then when he arrived at the school her sister already graduated and went to the most prestigious and powerful “academy”. (Im bad with names sorry…)
So another delay to the the “Find my sister plot”, but during his days in the academy, his feelings towards the ninja girl has blossom so fast that I kept rereading the chapters wondering if I missed something.
Throughout this arc (academy arc), it’s just MC showing his OPness and carrying the ninja girl and some students.
After a lot of carrying people, there’s a contest amongst all the academy and that’s when he finally reunited with his sister…
Idk cuz I didn't read the novel... but I honestly see no feelings between them... like no flirting or romance development.. to the point I wouldn't feel weird if her gender was switched. Is it was a male friend and those flies were picking a fight with him (instead of wanting to f her) and mc helping him out. Their interactions are pretty normal between friends to me. It does bother me the clothes she "wears" and the stereotypical way shes made tho.

Seriously, she is pathetic. I know a lot of MC’s who has the same talent and situation as her but there is always a difference between those MC’s and her. This MC here is the type of woman who has the talent but lacks the brain. I know she is cunning and smart(in some levels) but she doesn’t possess the will to be independent on her own. I know that she is weak physically and financially but I really adore those other MC’s, even though they’re weak physically(no martial arts talent, maybe a bit) but they don’t depend on a man to achieve their goal. The male lead will only appear like after 50 chapters or more. But this one..... She’s way too weak willed to be an empress. Well I guess that should be expected because in the prologue, it was written that she only knows to heal and kill people using her medicinal talent(If you can call it like that). So she can’t be considered as a cunning fox or a dangerous snake.
I guess it was my mistake to have an expectation for this one.
At first this was very interesting then became boring then bland. I mean he has 2 experiences of living in this world so he should be smart and very productive when it comes to growing his forces. The perfect example is when he hunted those people from the evil cult then almost died if the masked guy didn’t save him. Then the masked guy told him: “You’re young, came from a rich family and have a lot of potential but why do you seek death when you’re just a fly compared to your enemies?” Seeee!! Even the masked guy thinks he’s stupid like bro chill you’re still in your teens, you have an eternity to get your revenge (If he’s smart enough to know what to do and not to do in the moment). But I’m not sure yet cuz the raws didn’t show any signs of the omega dying but I saw in the raws a lot of time when the laboratory team put the omega’s body in a plastic bag(the bags you see the police are using to get the corpse of a person) when the omega is unconscious. And whenever that happens the alpha keeps stopping them.
i think uke probably die. he's an artificial omega which are weaker. it happened to seme's mother who did not live longer. she was bedridden after giving birth and died when seme was 4-6 years old (correct me if i'm wrong). seme's father said to him that his mother is nothing but only a reproductive tool. similar to what will happen to uke. the recent chapter will show that seme threatening the doctor. he said to her, if rain, you'll die too. your life in his hand. it doesn't occur yet but seme are anxious if uke will end up dying like his mother.

I really loved how the plot was different, but I really am disappointed with our FL.
I know she had a very abusive past that tormented her physically, mentally and psychologically.
But I adore and admire any individual who, no matter their past, they don’t let their past control them. And if they’re hunted still by their past then they get rid of it to eliminate the “rotten meat”.
I even much prefer other stories of MCs fighting back no matter how little against their oppressors. I believe in the idea that if someone wants to harm you, but you don’t have the power to fight back. Then, I might as well die bringing them with me in the afterlife.
As petty and chaotic that may sound, the reason our FL is still being pushed around by her oppressors is because instead of forming a “back bone” or fighting force while she’s being abused, she went to the other route of being so depressed, etc.
I know this statement might sound wrong to other people because I know everyone has different ways to cope to different situations. ESPECIALLY ABUSE!
I just sometimes feel so angered by how she indulged still those people insulting and abusing her when she has all those capabilities to protect and stop her sufferings.
