i'm looking for a somewhat older manga about two guys that are cops, in new york i think. one of them had a major crush on the other, and eventually they became a couple. they had like some sort of sidekicks??? who were just children that were always around, it was like a found family vibe.

why are people thinking this is going to lead to a fight??? mitsuki obviously just blurted shit out without preparing it because, by looking at aya in that moment, she just felt overwhelmed by love, feeling ready to sing and play again and seeing aya so moved by it. maybe aya says no but doesn't mean it's their end!!! this moment just represents mitsuki getting the courage to find herself again, as happened with the prom arc, and seeing aya by her side once again. it's just love!!!! just love!!!!!

started reading this feeling nostalgic for my high school days as i was just starting college, and now i'm in grad school please never end skip to loafer
i just love how this portrays both yasaka and ujie. yasaka is complex and appearantly has a messed up family, by what has been shown in the manga. she's seeking attention where she knows she can get it without having to put too much effort in, just existing while being a teenage girl and not having to talk through her feelings, fears and dreams makes it easier for her to be appreciated, even if it's not true. obviously that's all she wants. i would also hate her in real life, like most of the comments say, but it's a fascinating portray of being a teenage girl who's so desperate for attention and affection, for whatever reason it may be.
on the other hand, ujie likes her only because of what he thinks he knows of her. he just sees her as this pretty, sort of kind adn warm presence that, in his mind, is only for his enjoyment. he wants to be needed and rewarded for his help. that's very similar to incel behaviour in real life, a man who just sees women for what they could be what he wants of them. but ujie is still a teenager, and he wants attention and affection himself, specially after spending most of his time alone (even if he's a little bit annoying). i love how the manga is not mean to him for thinking this way, but still states that he's clearly incorrect in his view.
and i just love how this all ties back to mitsumi and shima. both yasaka and shima seek attention and to be liked, and both for very similar reasons. but mitsumi doesn't know if thats just cruelty, because she understands that while it's their choice to behave like that, there's a reason to, even if the reason itself is not something she actually knows.
sorry i just love this manga so much it's like. the best romance manga out there.

i was reading this manwha before The Great Mangago Erasure, and i can't remember it's name. it was about two guys who were classmates in high school: mc was blonde and had a petty rivalry with ml, but in their last day of school ml actually confesses and asks mc to sleep with him, they do it and then ml dissapears. years later, they both meet again in a kindergarten or something like that, where the mc goes and picks up his niece everyday and the ml has a child. the mc decides to win him over again to take revenge or something, but slowly starts to fall again.
