I need the 4 of them to pair off and have a side-by-side sex competition on a single big bed.

Why do so many of the stories with unique and interesting premises often have poor writing and execution?
I'm a fan of dungeon core stories. I'm a fan of hunter/awakener stories. This story feels like it should be a good combination of the two, but instead of blending the strengths of the two, it almost feels like it's blending their weaknesses.
I'll still give it some more time to develop. Hopefully it finds it footing and gets better.
Sometimes I feel people are being hyperbolic about there being a media literacy crisis these days, but then I'll look at some of the comments here and realize that not only are many readers struggling to string together the thinnest strand of critical thinking, they're seemingly struggling to think at all.

I think I kinda hate it.
I don't have an issue with and can even enjoy darker and more problematic stories, but those stories feel like they actually have a reason for the things happening in them; the characters and actions in them feel more logical and connected. This one just feels like random nonsense that only exists because the two characters, who seem to be completely unrelated, just so happened to be in the same place at the same time.
I like the art, but without a story to hold on to, it's hard to me to find any real connection with this one.
