kayden and gestella i can see. i can even feel the chemistry between them, it feels organic jiwoo and jiyoung i just dont feel. i dont see how the author thought the way it was introduced or how its going is fine. for people saying they dont need chemistry just a connection, thats what romance is about their chemistry, you can have a connection with anyone its the chemistry between characters that make or break a story. a connection is a character helping each other out and nothing else ever happens, they never meet again and you forget about them. chemistry means that characters could have a small window and its so good that readers remember them even after they leave or die and the story comes to an end and its what determines if its romantic or really good friends. if the english comments are upset i can only imagine what the korean ones look like. they don't hold back at all.

i know what the author said but i feel like cliff deserved better. to me i feel like he wasn't all that interested being the heir. like the author said he'd had everything handed to him and was suppose to be a typical obsessive dark romance ml but he wasn't even in a dark romance, so it was unfair that his story ended with him becoming abusive in a world he didn't even understand or have any power in. he helped the fake rhyse because he was in love with her and he was also bound by the system. everyone had their happy ending, he just loved the wrong person and wanted to be with them. the author made it seem he had helped do bad things but really how was he any worst than the duke and duchess?
they punished him unfairly, and the author said he wouldn't leave because his setting was to be an obsessive ml, so imagine an obsessive ml with nothing and no way out of his settings.

Please read the novel, I feel like you see Edith’s pain better and cliff gets a happy ending in it. It did a good job in explaining that the true villain was the author.

lets be honest the male lead is an alpha, and going by the omegaverse shown, its the standard type. i see people here saying he sexually harassed his Omega but i dont see that way. Su ah actually has the most toxic view of Omegas and if the roles were reversed he probably would have juhyeok mated to him without question long before they got to university. as kids he was ready to take care of juhyeok but that changed and as kids we saw how much of a toll it took on both of them.
lets not pretend the juhyeok doesn't know the dangers of an Omega in an Alpha dominated sport, he grew up expecting to be an Omega, so his entire early education would have been from that perspective.
SuAh wanted to continue in the sport and Juhyeok wanted that for him so he did what he thought would allow him which was shower him in pheromones. sure SuAh would have gotten use to pheromones eventually but he didn't want to leave the sport long enough to do that as a kid and Juhyeok gave him the ability to keep attending.
this would have been throughout their teens were pheromones were probably unstable and Alphas atthat age probably weren't great at controlling it either, and as an Omega SuAh would have had to eventually quit.
Was Juhyeok wrong? yes. however i don't think he did it out of a need to control SuAh. he knew SuAh would get into trouble because he refused and still refuses to properly acknowledge his Omega status and what it means on a Biological scale.
i honestly think he eventually knew SuAh wouldn't be able to compete with Alphas but loved seeing him happy and Knew SuAh wouldn't be able to accept he would be able to compete because he didn't want to be an Omega and never tried accepting his Omega status.
what was wrong was that Juhyeok never told SuAh what he was doing and SuAh began treating Juhyeok less than human.
Juhyeok needs to stop showering him and SuAh needs to learn to accept his Omega and what that means for him, and to also stop beinging a toxic Alpha even though he isn't even an Alpha.
