Feels like there's missing info at times. The magic also feels very inconsistent, and I feel like they nerf her for the sake of the ml too. If the art wasn't as pretty as it is, I would've dropped it sooner.

The cover art this site used doesnt do this series justice at all, I didnt know anything about the anime, but man the art is so amazing. The mixture of 2D and 3D elements are almost flawless, the composition is simply impressive. I came expecting generic art but I'm in a diamond mine
Looks like the OG artist has fully left the team. Their art was amazing and I wish them well on their new projects. New art is fine tho, glad they use the same colour palette as the previous one. I really hope this doesn't turn out like those series where the art quality goes on a downward spiral because there wasn't enough reader interest to keep affording it

It's a great series imo. it's a murim story planted in reality, no aura or a herb that gives you 1000 xp. It's a lot of struggle for survival.
I get why people are annoyed at the MC's lover but it feels like y'all are trying to cockblock fr. She knows the risks and still followed him, it was his choice to want to be with his lover. Let the man have something to be happy about, damn, otherwise it's just all deaths and a position he didn't ask for.
I also understand why people are annoyed at Sogo, she expected help and gave none in return. She's even the one who pushed the MC to be in this precarious situation. But, that's how she was raised to think. She was the elders' hope of reviving their sect. She was taught the old ways and how things were, so I understand why she expects all those to fall into place. And now look where it got her, right in the same position their sect were in the beginning; being hunted.
I wish I discovered this later when it had more chapters but it would also be a shame to not know of this masterpiece sooner
Not that different but in the novel Rute/Ruth confessed his feelings for her when he was drunk, not just to stay with him. That night he had a dream about it and that Odelle rejected him, in reality she was just indecisive. Next morning he does bring it up (the confession) and says he doesn't mind that she rejected him, as long as she stays with him. She thinks he's being shameless again and insists she didn't reject him
Absolutely loving this series so far. I really hope it doesn't get axed, seeing how some readers lack basic reading comprehension skills. Especially in the earlier chapters
It really has turned into a cult atp, everything is centered towards the mc. The author also really loves making every character say the MC's full name lol
But no, she's just bad and understandably a bitch. It's more like depression slop with how much she's made to suffer and will suffer worse in the future
