They’re wiping his memory. They do it when he gets depressed or traumatized.

I saw a while ago someone said in the past na in killed himself and that is why they block his memory. So he isn’t sad.

I finished the novel a long time ago, so I don't remember all the exact details. I'm just going off what I can remember.

SPOILERS!!

Na-in adopted and raised a human child a long time ago (he doesn't remember now), but the child died in an accident. After that, Na-in became so depressed that his emotions was affecting his physical body where he would slowly start disappearing, basically killing himself. Amon was just adding more salt to the wound as he didn't understand why Na-in was grieving over a human.

The problem is that Amon can't live without Na-in. Since they're connected, if Na-in dies, Amon dies too. Amon didn't want Na-in to die, a priest suggested using a special incense that would ease Na-in's pain by making him forget it, along with parts of his memories. That way, he wouldn't completely disappear.

Again, I might be missing something lol that's how I remember it.

Yes, he is actually a dragon- the author has another work that’s complete completed. I really wish I could remember the name, but it’s the same exact universe with dragons and wizards
Pink haired second ML is a wizard in this universe all the wizards trans migrate from earth or other earth like planets that’s why a pink haired ML had the funny little Hatsumi Miku reference

I do know that pink hair ml and the main character were together a long time ago and that’s when the dragon ml I think he forcefully took him if I remember right, and in this universe when dragons mate, they pretty much share the same life force. But the wizard is trying to get him back because they used to be lovers, but he’s just being sneaky and playing the waiting game until he can’t safely.
I think I remember them running away with the pink haired male lead, but sadly (sadly in my option cuz I love the pink hair ml) the dragon male lead ends up with the main character in the end ╥﹏╥
