Raising Beta
Yaoi, Omegaverse, Possessive Lover, Toxic, Smut, Childhood Friends, Trauma
Definitely one of the most toxic yaoi I’ve read. The one male lead bribes off the other male leads friends so he can have a chance to get close it him. Then, he gives him pills and slowly releases his pheromones to push him to develop as an omega. All so he can get him to be with him, not just as a friend, but romantically. And the worst part is the other male lead never finds out any of this. Ultimately, the manhwa is fine I’m just not a fan of the male lead or the storyline.
Which Do You Prefer?
Gender Switch, Smut, Bi Sexual, S&M
I like how the concept (of the storyline) allows for a bi relationship even with the same two people. It’s very interesting. Although, I do find the ending to be rushed, they never actually had the female lead admit her feelings to the male lead. She just basically said, “I think I’m starting to like you.” And then it ended. I wish they actually showed her feelings turning romantic and them dating, and so on.
Waterside Night
Yaoi, Omegaverse, Smut, Gang, Psychological
I’m just not a big fan of the storyline, everything else is good. It has good art, good smut scenes, good pace, and development. I’m just not a fan of the two male leads dynamic, especially in the beginning, how the one male lead treats the other, and certain characters personalities. I also feel as though there isn’t anything special about it, it reads like a lot of other yaoi manhwa. Lastly, there’s a lot of tough topics within the storyline like rape, abuse, assault, etc which I think adds to my opinion of disliking the storyline.
*Uncensored starts on chapter 67
Player Who Returned 10,000 Years Later
Action, Isekai, Drama, Magic, Comedy
This was surprisingly really good. I thought it was gonna be like any other isekai, but it’s quite unique. I like the characters, the art is nice, and the story is really interesting.
HighSchool boys trapped in a fantasy world
Yaoi, Smut, Isekai, Comedy, Uncensored, School Life, Student x Student , Supernatural, Magic, Action
Has an interesting concept the execution was just poor. The story is lackluster and the characters aren’t explained in detail; their emotions, actions, etc. The chapters are also extremely short, which gets annoying if you’re reading a lot at once. I also feel as though the story is very slow paced and not much has happened yet.
Steel-Eating Player
Action, Regression, Magic, Fantasy
Pretty unique for a regression manga. The male leads fighting style is very original and looks awesome. If you like great action scenes and art this is perfect. The storyline also has some aspects that I’ve seen before like gates spawning monsters, but it still has quite a bit of originality. At least it doesn’t feel like I’m just rereading something I’ve already read, which is common with storylines now.
Ni Jiu
Shounen Ai, Omegaverse, Isekai
Started off kind of slow, but the more I read it the more I can’t seem to put it down. It did although seem to get sloppy towards the end. The storyline is kind of all over the place once Weiwei gives birth. There are a lot of gaps and it’s doesn’t make total sense.
PASSION
Yaoi, Smut, Drama, Action, Violence, Survival, Psychological, Comedy, Enemies to Lovers, Unrequited Love
This is a really good storyline. I don’t think I’ve ever read a yaoi that has this good of a storyline that’s not just about romance. The drama and survival that’s in here really keeps it interesting. I can’t wait to read more. Definitely gonna have to binge read this one.
summer season
Yaoi, Unrequited Love, Childhood Friends, Slice of Life, Comedy, Student x Student, Smut
Really cute, simple, and short story. I feel like it was just the right length. Not too long where it gets boring and not too short where it feels rushed. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the one male leads personality. He acts as though he only understands certain emotions. Like love, but then he treats the other male lead so poorly, because he’s jealous and doesn’t think about the other male leads feelings. This causes them to fight a lot. He isn’t very understanding and tends to only think about himself. I also like how the story feels lighter and isn’t super deep. Great for a quick read.
