Like it evokes a physical reaction, idk if it’s the art style, the expressions, the brutality and abuse but it doesn’t shy away from anything omg it’s horrifying but also sorta mesmerizing. I can’t seem to have any conclusive thoughts on anyone including mc and ml and the eldest son and the general tak and anyone.

I’m in the fifty chapter of the side stories and getting frustrated a bit. Ruan is stressed about how uncomfortable Cloden is around him, at some point he talks about how he can’t let all this go because of the events of a few minutes. I’m really frustrated about the lack of accountability and proper dialogue about the misunderstanding. Cloden was brutally assaulted and almost killed and has developed severe anxiety because of it, and Ruan while understanding his mistake has not properly acknowledged it or even given a proper apology yet. He was almost killed, how can you expect him to dine with you in peace in the same place he was assaulted? I just hope they are able to talk about this and Cloden is given a real apology
