a lot of people think this season is unnecessary and i cant exactly disagree, but i do think that there were topics in the first few seasons that weren’t covered properly. it hurts so bad to see my babies who were so happy go through so much, but im excited to see where this goes and their ACTUAL happy ending.
although, i do think that if the author wanted to push this sudden change of direction in the story, their “ending” during season 4 shouldn’t have felt so “alright, this is it!” and should have hinted to their unresolved conflicts somehow.
overall, im just trusting the process because some angst always makes a happy ending feel more rewarding!
