This is honestly one of the most heartbreaking and viscerally disturbing BLs I’ve read in recent memory… Roha had finally found some semblance of peace with Raon, but the sexual & physical torture and verbal abuse Garon had subjected him to for so long had broken him and fostered the codependency that led Roha back to him, despite the fear and disgust he felt towards him. When that abuse is the only thing you’ve known for so long, its absence can make you feel like you need it to feel whole, drawing you away from the people who love you and back towards the trauma as a form of self-harm. If we’re to take the story at face value and not immediately write it off as torture porn (which is difficult lol), I feel like it works best as a tragedy meditating on the cycle of abuse. Garon deserves fire and brimstone

I’m on the hunt for a yaoi I deeply enjoyed and lost in the war (mangago lists purge)… it was maybe one or two volumes and it followed a policeman who faced off with a flamboyant and scheming phantom thief-type (who I believe was the uke) who would manipulate seme into having sex with him to return whatever goods he’d stolen… one plot twist was that the uke was his old neighbour who had adopted a new identity. I can remember the plot so clearly lol I just can’t recall the name. Any leads appreciated!
Arisaka is way better off without Takatora… I dunno why I keep wishing for something to happen with them…
Does anyone know if non-rated reads will be restored?
