That's not the reason why people are angry though!! There's nothing wrong in that people are pissed off because of the choices he made like that secretary for example not too long ago he jumped at him and he had to use force to push him away but then he goes and stays with the same secretary's house!??? And this is the same guy who says all alpha's asre are the same they are only after pheromones so he should've been more cautious also after that incident as in chapter 32 he is now defending his own rapist?? I mean how dumb can he be?? Also if he can trust his secretary who he knows for like a few years why not your childhood friend who has been nothing but genuine from the beginning!?

im not even that invested in this plot but its kind of impossible to mistake the reading of his character as anything other than people being demonstrably illiterate lol. Like in a lot of these omegaverse stories all omegas experience, what is effectively misogyny. We're actively seeing mc fight for any position across his life because hes an omega, and he knows if a board is given 2 options for chairman one being an alpha the other an omega, the world has been set so that we as the readers know they'd never choose mc. I don't understand the disconnect in this comment section

It would've been great if mc and ml were fighting for the chairman position but because the plot took a turn and that unnecessary rape scene that's why people are pissed that's all!

no one is in a position to critique how a victim responds to the abuse they've suffered, mc is hardly defending the secretary but we know he holds some internalised shame over being an omega because the system has conditioned him that way. Not wanting people to know he was taken advantage of is a very understandable position for him because of his vehement hatred for alphas. The rape scene, whether anyone thinks it gratuitous or unnecessary doesn't matter at this point cos it's happened, it has been implemented as the tool to create more conflict between mc and ml. And a lot of these comments are specifically mad at mc cos "he should've been cautious." How is thinking that any better than blaming him for his own assault

He just demoted the secretary. Also maybe he's just not having a terrible reaction to it like that's ok too, it's not being GLOSSED OVER in the story and the secretary is suffering the repercussions of his actions. SECOND, though the ml has been w the mc throughout, he constantly challenges the mc and has even asked him before to consider giving up his career goals so that he could be with the ml. That's NOT what the mc wants, and he made that clear many times while the ml kept ignoring that. He is genuine, you can't rly say he's not but that's not what the ml wants. They have different WANTS which doesn't make the mc bad nor his decisions specific bad either

Well, mc ALSO asked the ml to give up his shares and leave the company! Also I'm not here to fight anyone it's just that people can have different opinions so if you think mc is not wrong in anyway it's fine! And I agree that ml is also wrong for not explaining things properly before but it's true that mc never took ml seriously!

wow, a rapist got demoted from his job as the consequence of his horrible action instead of being beaten half-death or going to jail, very scary indeed. The MC was cool and accepted that he's raped like they had just spent a one night stand together, pshh no big deal. MC clearly knew ML loved and devoted to him but fck that, who gave a sh*t about love or your own dignity, you gotta protect the rapist and hurt the one who actually cared about you. Oh, I'm sure MC's parent would be hella proud that his son sacrificed his own body to the rapist for his career goals. Right?
