I don’t man the problem is the betrayal imagine your lover or your best friend betraying you in any way without considering your feelings, not apologising and not trying to reach you in any way won’t you feel betrayed?? For this situation Imagine either your loved or best friend going to your parents and telling them about I don’t know for exemple a kink you have, things you did at parties (alcohol drugs sex ,…) or something that could make them disown you and something you especially thrusted that person not to reveal and they decided for you that it was how you and your family should stay away and after catching them in the act they don’t reach you for 10 years while you waited for them imagining excuses for what they did willing to forgive them had they apologized, it’s the same kind of betrayal or even worse than your bff having sex with your lover I think and personnally I couldn’t get past that, relationships end for way less and forgiveness is earned bro stayed away for 14 years, so yeah I get why you feel this way but I think it’s the kind of thing that are hard to get past quickly especially when nothing was done to resolve the issue and cheol was left supposedly « waiting » for him without even knowing that he wanted to come back he didn’t know about his plan or anything for 14 years,
