I just haven’t read the novel but I don’t think I am missing much, I don’t think I want to continue, to be honest it the typical useless bottom that always forgives and the end, i may be wrong but don’t expect much!

I just read the recent chapters in the novel and they changed quite A LOT, for example there was never a rape scene in the train, it was and action scene with Logan fighting 5 barbarians saving ilodel, ilodel even CLINGS to him afterwards. I think it's better for the story than just rape this rape that IT'S SOOOO UNNECESSARY, I like the novel more but the art is good so yeah

I literally just finish the first vol of the novel and I was looking to see if the manwha was out and it got me here lol! It a bit confusing but so far so good!
Honestly, the moral conflict is exactly why I DNF’d the novel and why I can’t bring myself to continue the webtoon. Yes, Jiwook did horrible things, but the revenge eventually becomes so extreme that it just feels like another cycle of abuse rather than justice. At some point I stopped rooting for anyone because both sides were doing awful things.
I actually finished the novel, but I never want to read it again. The ending was horrible for me, especially with the whole dog situation. Maybe I’ll check the last chapter of the webtoon when it’s finished to see if the author changes the ending this time, but as of now I have no interest in rereading the story.

The backlash was so severe that WEBTOON removed the series from its English platform and the creators issued apologies.
I actually enjoyed the live-action adaptation, but I personally stopped supporting the original manhwa after Chapter 125 and won’t be reading anything else from the author.

Due to the series not receiving enough paid readership to keep the serialization going, the company decided to end the series at season 1 with the author/artist coming in later to give the story a finish completing the series at 40 chapters.
Which was very disappointing since it was getting so good.

Okay, you can hate me but I didn’t cry, it was sad but I believe it was a perfect ending, because it just shows that not every story is a happy ending, I really enjoyed it!
Wish the art was a tad better but even so it was breathtaking!
