Welp. I only wanna recommend Mo Dao Zu Shi. Hehe just look at the copy of my rant the last i recommended it(lol If i rant this time again obviously it'll be 1000 words long minimum, and i got 1% charge lol)

Mo Dao Zu Shi. Genre: Fantasy, Supernatural, BL (development oriented like "mainstream", not fanservice oriented like other bl anime), Horror, Historical, Tragedy, Comedy (And various other emotions...) Extremely happy and ultimate satisfying ending.

Once you're hyped and curious to know more, Read the novel. (Now, you'll know how the animators changed the plot from novel (not major or ooc obviously).

Then, as you join the fandom, you can also listen to the audio drama. Its 99% true to the novel and as usual... Its gets better with each episode.
Its like... Beautiful, just beautiful. First it may seem a bit confusing as it might be the first time you're watching/reading Chinese Xianxia, Historical genre. So gotta do some memorisation (understanding it, holding on to it is tons more worth, than sparing a little time for memorising names). The characters, THE CHARACTERS. I cant find enough words as to how UNIQUE they are, how CHARISMATIC, how lovable (as well as extremely hateful characters).
Well, THEN you can read the manhua, which is here. But its much slower and a/c to me not sufficient to fangirl in my level.
Well, even if you didnt watch/read/listen to it.. as much underrrated its in the West, as much popular it is in the East, like, on the league of most popular and well developed shounen anime, and its got enough reason for that (i am so proud, its BL!) .]

As for Predictable? Nothing is predictable about it unless you see/read it for yourself, not even smut scenes which are the end. (Everyone who didn't read the novel thinks "oh they're so pure, its not proper yaoi, it must be very pure and simple ^^"... As if lol!)
