Yall think we glossed over the human experimentation part too quickly? Yall she was basically kidnapped and tortured and we dont even know if she was raped and then she died thinking her love would come and save her and their child, but all this time he believed she cheated on him and ran away with her lover so he didnt bother finding her and hated her the entire time??? Yo that's HEAVY. Imagine the anguish of a mother trying to stay alive to protect her unborn child?? And who kidnaps a noble and doesnt even ask for ransom? That shit was personal.
I think it was meant to be hope to a already traumatizing situation for him, he thought his live was cheating on him playing him for a fool and seeing someone else and then just suddenly died not even able to get any sort of closure. He couldn’t love anyone else. He wanted to make a family with her and a dream he’d never see fulfilled remember it was stated he’s a big romantic/sentimental person. I doubt he’d want to hear the ways his love was tortured but knowing there is a possibility to see something that was proof of their love for each other and a piece of her still a love aka their child it gives him hope that he was wrong and that what he dreamed of was something real. And he wants to cherish that bond that’s available to him. So I don’t see it as glossed over per se but how much more traumatized do we have to make this man ? And even so our FL isn’t so cruel to describe what happened in detail to a guy who clearly cares a lot about his late lover.
I'm rly enjoying this so far. It has a good twist of dark humor in a supposedly traumatic situation, but the MC makes it seem like everything is going to be fine easy peasy. It's like that advice that older ppl give when they dont believe in depression, "don't be sad, just smile!" As if smiling makes everything better? but in this MC's case it actually does?? That's how I explain this humor hahaha. He's the embodiment of "think positive!" And it actually works out
I guess the princess is the righteous type with a savior complex. I mean it's not a bad thing but I'm srsly getting a massive ICK from that. It's a good thing Han is rational and his decision to re-do that mission is to gain more info and not to build a relationship with her. But I have a feeling its only going to develop her feelings of obsession with him. ICK hahaha
Y'know what's funny? You are actually kinda correct. I'm on chapter 249 of the novel right now and the princess is showing a huge dependance on Han that even Velkist noticed it, saying that Han needs to keep a distance from her or else sooner or later it will become a bother. Which is, Velkist is right since Han needs to separate his emotions from his missions and remember his real goal. It seems like the princess is slowly developing romantic feelings or already developed them for Hans. Either that or just overly dependent on Hans, which I hope is the latter. I kinda find her annoying but I understand her lol.
Actually, the princess also says that she is useless, not being helpful at all. Hans didn't say anything as a response because he knows that is true and the princess always needed help from them (the heroes) so he chose to remain silent.
Sometimes it surprises me how softhearted Hans/Loki is despite being rationally calm. I hope he realises and follows through what Velkist said, Velkist's instincts are better than what we might think.
Oh I didnt realize that she was going to actually be a "character" character? My whole comment was based on the idea that she is an NPC through and through. Most NPCs have a set job/personality to do, so it might have been a superficial take, but I looked at her as I thought she was, an NPC. "Who cares if they die? They're NPCs. They have to prioritize the survival of their team first", was my first thought. The rest of the townspeople are NPCs too cuz how else are they unable to interact with most of them unless for the mission and replay each floor like a game? So I stood by my first impression. Having wild takes and being proven completely wrong/right is what makes the reading experience fun after all. Anyway, I was hoping for a discussion, but instead managed to offend a fan club.
Btw where do u read the novel? Are u saying it's not yet completed and we dont know how this ends yet? Cuz (and this is another wild take) if velkist had to step up and warn Han, I feel like someone might've died/gets severely wounded becuz of her. As it is with most "righteous" characters, It's a cliche thing but it happens.... (can u confirm or...?)
Crying cuz she has a damn good point. But also if u think of it from a realistic perspective, love does not always prevail. Feelings change and such, divorce happens etc, because to love is a choice. So if she rly wants to survive overall.... I rly think she should take up his offer, becuz he can protect her. Power and money would actually keep her alive in this world, even without love
If it ever happens... I ship him with the mind reader. Because thay guy will be the only guy that would truly understand him. No one else is going to believe him when he says it's a BL world, but the mind reader will be able to understand why the MC acts the way he does.
Also THEY'RE SIMILAR AGE, and he's not a high school child.
This manga updates like once a month, and even tho I know It's gonna end up in a cliffhanger, I EAT this up every single time
