I understand a lot of them go for the picture because of the picture they’re like ha ha something good actually I hate any type of sharing one person type of shenanigans like it makes me uncomfortable. I don’t like it. I think it sucks. The brother is a proper psycho. Not a cutesy weirdo, but a proper sociopath. Like he doesn't even think like a human being, and he really believes he is the good caring sinbling (like he pushed Chase under a car when Chase didn'twant to go to school, because clearly being hospitalised excuses you from school). Their family is so fucked up, when the youngest child was an omega, parents fled from their alpha sons just in case.

the injections to extract pheromones (i think that's what you meant) are unhealthy. if i'd have to guess it probably has something to do with natural bodily cycles that align with a heat/rut period. one of them is likely lowering fertility which tends to be important in this kind of setting (rich family/chaebol settings)

Not for fun. The pheromones here are harmful to the extent that it destroyed their father's brain n he almost died. Same thing could happen to Chase if he would continue to taking injections. But chase was rigid that he won't sleep with anyone so Grayson tried to scare him so that he would start using the natural and safe method of extraction.

I really look forward to reading this (manhwa as well as novel). Author's other work (Under the Oak Tree) had a weak female lead who could not protect herself (complete opposite of Thalia lol) and a ML who was secretly obsessed with her. Both mc and ML had complicated pasts and were abused in their childhood, but they helped each other to learn how to deal with it and become better people. Female lead became a strong person and better. Also miscarriage and resentment, heartbreak between mc and ml happened.
So I am curious how this story will turn out. Based on previous work I have a feeling this story will have a happy ending. But a lot will have to happen. I think female lead will have character development for sure. And maybe ml is secretly obsessed with her too but doesnt show it..? hehe i just love this trope. I hear people talking about miscarriage (which also happened in previous work) and death of Thalia?? Since this story takes place in the same world as Under the Oak Tree but 200 years earlier, magic and wizards will exist. The existence of monsters and elves and healing magic of priests have already been mentioned until chapter 20. And I do not think the story will continue with literally the female lead main character dead so maybe something with magic/resurrection will happen??
Anyway I'm gonna continue reading the novel somewhere and hope it's further in the story than the manhwa because I'm so fucking excited for this aaaaaaa

And I'm not sure if I should the novel or the manhwa. I read the novel for Under the oak tree, because a manhwa takes longer to finish and I didn't really like the artstyle.
