I am GENUINELY glad that the comic did not end as graphic as the novel. If i remember correctly in the novel he CUTS her ankles, not puts that weird spell bind LMAO i was terrified to read this chapter knowing the novel.
Anyway, don’t be so angry everyone. The intro should’ve been more clear, this manwha/webtoon is incredibly mature. Yes, a little stupid and frustrating but the novel was pretty clear on this being mature and a little graphic. I think i’ll read this back when i’m older even.
The ending followed the script, not sure what you guys were expecting, while it is like a similar to a movie adaptation, the plot still has to follow the og so it can’t go super off script. but anyways yeah it was never going to be a “happy ending” and i feel sorry for those disappointed.
Yeah, I think this approach to the ending fit how the comic went more than going with the verbatim novel ending. Like the novel was more of a horror and focused on her being in physical danger a lot while the webcomic centered more on the psychological aspects that gave more attention to him being a broken and hurting man rather than simply an angry, violent one. So him suddenly turning to graphic physical abuse to mutilate her wouldn't make as much sense since he'd never been physically violent with her before.

I just need to know because i’m hella monogamous LMAO
If you look at the cover, i think its not.
i just checked the novel and it seems to not be! yay!!!
