I wonder why he needs to tie his feet when he goes to sleep, I think the top already knows
Spoilers....
It's because of the trauma he endured from his father, who murdered his entire family and left him scarred, and the later incident with a stranger wielding a knife whom he mangled in self-defense, his life became a constant battle against the “monster” haunting his dreams. Though his act of violence was driven by good faith, protecting others and symbolically defeating the nightmare that tormented him, people quickly judged him, whispering lines like “Kid’s got a violent streak” and “Blood will tell,” comparing him to the very father who caused his suffering. The stranger he subdued was left blind, with a crushed head and needed countless stitches, unable to commit the same crime again, yet instead of recognition for his courage, he was branded with suspicion. For the first time since his family’s murder, he slept peacefully after defeating that assailant, but the cruel comparisons ignited a fear of becoming like his father. Haunted by this possibility, he began tying his feet before sleep, binding himself as a precaution so that even if the “monster” within ever took control, he would be restrained and unable to harm others.
