Because I believe in ukes getting what they want supremacy

Rollercoaster of emotions ass chapter. A time and a place author. Why is there heavy shit in my smut and smut in the heavy shit. It doesn't give anything the proper attention it deserves.
But also the primary issue, at least in my opinion, is that an opportunity for character growth is cast aside.
So Gjord's obsessive and horny and in love. That's all cute and fine. Problem is, it's not as though he's like that 100% of the time—he's also caring and protective! At this moment in the story, it would make sense to show some more facets of his character, but instead we get...this.
Sylhan literally goes from taking Lister's shit talk to trying to stab him for it. It's not like the author doesn't know what character development is. Apparently Gjord doesn't get to have any :)
The author is really scanty when it comes to panels. I'm pretty sure Sylhan actually got to eat (it seemed so odd I checked the novel lol), or if not maybe he'll get to afterward, but I noticed they kind of skip around awkwardly especially in smut scenes and seem to think the audience will just. Get what they mean.

I feel like in a lot of stories where a character is suffering mentally, their illness only props up when it can be a plot point.
One thing I like about Antidote is that it's ever present and not just a tool to conveniently cause problems. It interrupts the good and the bad, and it's not magically fixed once he has enough dick.
I hope his condition improves further, and I'm looking forward to learning about their backstory ^^
