The author is really scanty when it comes to panels. I'm pretty sure Sylhan actually got to eat (it seemed so odd I checked the novel lol), or if not maybe he'll get to afterward, but I noticed they kind of skip around awkwardly especially in smut scenes and seem to think the audience will just. Get what they mean.
Sylhan seeing a dragon in place of Gjord in chapter 29 and it not being a hallucination makes a lot of sense now.
