I was thinking and I really couldn’t figure out how this would work out for them yknow…soooo I got into my brain and started thinking ideas:
1. They tell their parents truthfully about everything and they are accepted (this feels like a dream especially since the mom is a big Christian that even Sohm was praying to god crying when he started liking Geon. Also when she caught them in her flower shop in a weird position she was weirded out)
2. They fly away abroad, change their names if they want to go a step farther and cut contact with their family and friends (a little more ‘realistic’ I guess…)
3. The parents flat out just die (it got dark so fast I’m sorry but like if their parents died or one parent died yes they would grieve and mourn them but at the same time I think this weight on their shoulders would be lifted in a sense)
4. They go into an alternate universe and live happily ever after.
I think 2 is the most realistic, I truly hope it works out for them, this is literally the only genuinely good story about step brothers I've seen.
They're both adults so it makes the most sense that they keep lying to their parents and since they can't marry legally, they'll remain a couple without making it public and stay in Korea. Since their parents have a child now, it's natural that they spend less time with them too.
I think 2 is the most realistic, I truly hope it works out for them, this is literally the only genuinely good story about step brothers I've seen. They're both adults so it makes the most sense that they keep ... Chiaki

The quality after the timeskip got down a lot, but I agree that it's the only step brothers story I have liked. I think that it might not be that bad if Sohm's mom has suspected for a while about her son's feelings without us knowing, and has come to accept them during those 5 years. My guess is a combination of the first two, their parents accept them but they can't be a family together because it would be weird as hell for their little brother, so they just move together to live in another district.
