I somehow had a feeling that this kind of rushed ending is the mangaka's intention to finish it if she ever had the chance.
It was rushed but she left it open, probably because there is a slight wish that she may pick up from that last chapter if she regained her health and conclude the story on a good note.
I've seen a lot of mangakas and writers did this too, leaving the story on an ambiguous ending because deep down, they love it so much but incapable of finishing it due to reasons.
Whatever path the mangaka take, I hope she is happy and healthy now. This story is good enough as is, and if the mangaka and this manga ever made a comeback, we'll welcome them back with open arms.
Thank you to Odagiri Hotaru and the translation team.
Bro I felt my heart tug when reading each chapter I don't even know if it's because I've been staying up reading this or from the excitement but it ended like that?!
Nuh uh. This deserves another 50 chapters and 20 side stories!! They're so human in character yet their circumstances are so absurd LOL I haven't had fun reading a manhwa this much.
Anyway, it's a nice fresh of air.
Reading this for the nth time (I've lost count). Such a gem this manhwa is. I'm starving for side stories. This can't end just like that.
I'm not a fan of manhwa with too much r18 stuff but honestly? I'd die for r18 chapters between Heejae and Seyeong cause ain't no way I can imagine it with their personalities.
This manga is proof of how stupid and selfish human can be. I'm disgusted and annoyed the whole time someone made a fckn stupid decision, especially when faced with fear of death. No matter the social class or knowledge they gain (like those military people, or hackers, or ministers), they always turn to the dumbest and the most questionable decision at the end. The mangaka really know how to use those dmbfcks to make me angry. Nevertheless, it was a good read and a good representation of desperation in mankind.

I think this story is fleshed out well. The plots are nice, ending is so-so, though I think author-nim covered how the Park siblings got the power in the first place under the blanket. No explanation on that but overall, kinda nice story. On another personal note-

Poly between Jaewoo, Hyeonjin, and Mujin would be nice when I first read it, but I changed my mind when I reached the final chapters where Jiheon was involved and later was revealed to be Jaewoo's friend. I felt sorry for Eunjoon@Jiheon, considering how he abandoned the reality world to chase after Jaewoo. That's real crazy top traits compared to Mujin.
By the end when they left the fictional world, I was frustrated with Jaewoo's attachment to Hyeonjin when your friend clearly went inside that world to save you. Probably because I think a story between Jaewoo and Eunjoo would be more interesting, but whatever.
This one is nice as is.
