I honestly loved everything about this story. I loved the style and everything but the final chapter was disappointing. First of all, we didn’t even get to see their wedding which I was looking forward to. Second, I feel the portal he slipped in was pointless. He literally falls into it and then Yuta is home and poof Mel finds him. Like okay yea that’s cute he spent 10 years looking for him but like it seemed pointless to me.
All in all it was a cute story but the ending was unsatisfying. Was hoping for at least more of the story.
That grandpa was an asshole lol A much as I love dark shit like kidnapping and rape, I had a hard time with this. With what the main kid went through YET fell in love with conflict revenge mcgee, I don't find it realistic. Like he was kidnapped for two weeks and already got Stockholm syndrome? I'd believe it if the guy was an abusive asshole that fucked with his mind to receive it so soon but he didn't. Idk the cute stuff just felt off to me but hey that's my opinion
