So many people are commenting lately that they don't like the series anymore, that it's boring, or that nothing makes sense. Is it just me? I feel like it's been really good lately. Yes, it's slowly moving, but every chapter is teaching us something that will be important. So yeah, Yona can't see the rest of our fave characters, but now we get to see her grow even more than she already has! It's easy to know what would happen when she's with the others, but how exactly can we picture her as her own person, able to rule an entire country, command armies even, if we can't even see how she'll learn to do it? And the background info?? I got chills when Yona realized in this chapter that her mother may not have died by a simple rebel attack. And now we get to know about the Crimson Dragon bloodline? I'm so excited! If anyone got to this point of my comment, thank you ;)
For me personally it is just agonizing to watch this slow burn. Though for me it’s not like I dislike the whole series. I‘m just waiting for the point where yona has more of her freedom back, because that relieve me, instead of giving me anxiety every month that a new episode comes out and leaving me brooding like hell until the next.
So I‘m just skipping out until that freedom comes back and then I will happily gobble up everything that happened at the castle. And if it’s true what you’re describing(I‘m not up to date obviously) then I‘ll probably Be happy about that character development^^
Is it just me or was Mika acting strange? Like some of the comments seems to be saying that he was dumbing down his words for Yuu, or other things, but it seems to me more like his words cut off and he clutched his chest in pain, before both his words and his expression changed?? Am I the only one seeing this? Idk, i just kinda think he seems sus...
I'm sure i'm not the first to comment or think about this but, what if the 'shield and sword that will protect the king' is pertaining to Yona, Hak, and Soo-wan? Like, Yona's the king (duh) Hak is the sword (Strongest human our main characters know and rlly good with weapons) and that makes Soo-wan the shield, as in, maybe his end isn't retirment or choosing a new king but actually dying by taking a shot meant for Yona, and like, on his death bed he tries to ask for her understanding (not that he deserves it)? Also would be kinda cool since it'd be like fate placed the three of them together when they were kids...
Idk
I feel like that's more of Zeno's own philosophy as to what his powers are towards the 'king' and his internal strife (an example is that when he told king Hiryuu about his powers, he was disgusted with himself about them) than about him being the shield that protects Yona. By the same degree, Kija's arm is also known as the perfect spear (though I can't remember where that this was said sorry)
Thank you for your input ;)
I feel that rather than taking a shot for Yona, it's more like protecting the country as the shield. It would make more sense as he currently is doing just that. Trying to protect the country and being prosperity to it despite the means of how he did it in the beginning. He still is trying to achieve that as he goes around trying to solve each clans problems but Yona keeps beating him to it. What he did was unforgivable but I do understand why he did it cause if nothing was done, the country will fall into ruin sooner than later. I don't hate him but doesn't mean I didn't dislike him at first. I just came to understand him a bit more. Though I do have a feeling he'll most likely die by the end for Yona and the others.
This chapter left us on a better note than the last one did, obviously, and it hints that the following chapter(s) will be about what happened with Yuyang, which I'd like to say I know fully, but there's probably more than that. It also showed that Lihuan wasn't so depressed to just give up, rather that he has his goal in mind and that as he gets new information he changes his path. Yes, everyone is bashing JianYu but can we honestly say she should never have done anything she did? No, she helped Yuyang realize his feelings, as another commentator pointed out, and among other things, like showing support for Lihuan. Let's have some hope guys!
“To use with who” like seriously Taesung?? Lmao everyone’s in the comments shrieking about next chapter. I gotta say it is refreshing for it to not just be the seme who wants the sex. I mean, seems like Haebom might actually want it more if u ask me...also, I took a look at the raws and I can promise that they definitely go at it like bunnies for a few chapters...let’s pray for a fast update!

If u copy/paste the above gibberish exactly, it'll start at chapter 66

Live action sucks.
