He treated her like trash for 10 years and then is surprised to see "new sides of her". Bro, that tends to happen when you judge people and don't take the time to get to know them. Not too mention him embarrassing her and being all passive aggressive about whether they'd get married or not.
Then he doesn't have the decency to accept her breaking off the engagement. If he had any self awareness, he would be ashamed of himself and let her be happy with someone else.
But then Bianca seems to continue to choose him and be in love with him for no reason at all.

Why would she marry into a family that has had this curse for generations and then be surprised that they still had it when she was there. It's like if I married someone with a disability and expected them to be cured of it because we love each other.
And then there's the fact that she was infusing her unborn child with mana, not being fully sure of what might happen. How irresponsible is that.
Idk the way she acts just rubs me the wrong way, it's like she thinks nothing she does can be wrong.

Comparing a disability with a curse is some copium. Astrid didn't expect the curse to be magically cured, she was working on finding the cure herself and then realized everything they believed was wrong. She's a woman trying her best. She infused her unborn with child with management to make them a mage before realizing the bloodline is cursed, not the land, so her mana was being drained.
She's not faultless, but her actions are reasonable for someone in her position. Calling her weird because she was being human and trying her best despite the setbacks is a disservice to her.
She's not trying her best. Marrying someone and having kids with them with the expectation that you will be able to pull off something extremely difficult that will change their entire personality doesn't make any sense. What if she had actually lifted the curse but she still didn't like the way he behaved without it?
She did try her best, tho. She didn't know THEY were cursed until it was too late. She and everyone else thought the land was cursed. She loves her husband but constantly getting the cold shoulder eventually hurts like? Sorry she has emotions and her feelings got hurt. She kept hitting obstacles and was being worn thin emotionally and physically. Anyone would be feeling stressed and disheartened in that situation.
You don't have to like her or think her actions are all justified, but she was doing what she thought was best at the time. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
