Why are they dragging their feet so much when she's very obviously the lost daughter. And the whole fake daughter arc was so unnecessary (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Unpopular opinion but I hate when they do this "I've loved you all my life since I was five and have never even held another woman" trope. It just feels like the author didn't have time to develop the ML so they just create this excuse. If it was the other way around with the FL being eternally in love with ML, it wouldn't fly.

In this particular story it feels even more silly because she's very different from her childhood self.

I really liked this story. I think some people in the comments are just too used to reincarnation plots where the FL already knows everything from the start and has a masterplan already created before the story begins.

This is not that kind of story but that's exactly why I found it so refreshing. Yes, she's oblivious at the start, but the whole point is that she learns to use her power for good, to help others and be more confident.

I'm kinda hoping the MC gets beaten at least once, if not by the brother then by someone else. I hate when they don't have any real challenges to overcome

Omg u get me… like i love that regressed mcs retain their knowledge but it would be nice if things always dont go as planned

But he was a well known mercenary so I doubt the brother would beat him especially with his mana pool. I think he’ll meet his match tho when his masters disciple comes into play with the way he described him.

Immediately taken out of the story in chapter 20-something because the fl doesn't want to wear a corset since apparently it's hard to breathe in. I thought at this point anyone mildly interested in historical clothing knows better than to believe that. It's like me asking if a blouse for a formal event can be worn without bra.

I haven’t read the story at all, and I’m unsure if you’re being sarcastic/funny so I might sound like a yapper—but r u freaking serious. Corsets were soo bad far the women in the era when they HAD to wear them; especially if they were wealthy. Nowadays you probably won’t ever get your hands on the real stuff since it’s not the 1700s anymore, but boy did those women have stomach problems and trouble breathing because of how tightly they’d get the corset.. it was known many fainted during balls or even just by walking on the street! It was like a daily occurrence lol.

It’s ridiculous now. It was such an improvement when women were allowed to wear jeans

I'm sorry but this is mostly inaccurate. Corsets were not only worn but women but sewn and designed by them as well, and they were an undergarment that everyone wore in order to support the heavy skirts and under armour padding. It would have been more uncomfortable to wear all those layers that give the dress shape without a corset.

Everyone wore them in the 1800s, that included peasants and ladies that had to work, not just nobles. If it actually caused women to constantly faint they would've been exclusive for the nobility, because everyone else had an occupation and they couldn't afford to constantly pass out.

Nowadays many people do historically accurate replicas or corsets (even making them with whale boning) and they wear them regularly. Women with large busts have reported feeling better when using a corset compared with a bra because it gives better back support and shape.

Tight lacing can cause issues, but most people did not do that, and it is not necessary.

Actually modern corsets are more uncomfortable than old ones because many are mass produced instead of being cut based on the individual body shape.

Well, exactly. That’s basically what I said—besides the commoner/nobility. I wasn’t so sure about it, but I do remember hearing noble women were more-so obligated to wear them because of the standards.. commoners were, on the other hand, not (which is why many women who fainted were strolling or dancing; not working—but who knows I wasn’t there).

I think all the arsenic and mercury might have contributed to fainting more. Women also have to wear bras in the modern day, it’s not a sign of oppression to wear undergarments. They can be used for unrealistic or dangerous beauty standards but that was not the norm. I wear corsets, both historical and modern, and they are genuinely more comfortable than bras (for me). I can do everything in a corset and they better distribute weight across my back. Yes corset over-tightening can be uncomfortable and cause issues but not wearing corsets in this time period is like if you wore a too small bra and then stopped wearing bras entirely because that was uncomfortable.

I really tried to get into this but the FL hasn't made a single choice in the story. She is like an NPC standing around letting everyone else make decisions for her. Even her face doesn't even change that much...

    PanCake February 3, 2026 10:45 am

She really can’t make many choices since there is a strict class system and since she’s of lower rank she has to listen what the princes and dukes say. I also think she’s a bit less expressive that since she doesn’t have any memories of who she was. Those are just my assumptions tho

RoseBourbon December 28, 2025 1:41 am

I'm overall enjoying the story but it seems weird that the duke would listen to a child when it comes to forgiving an adult that hit her in pubic. I think if it were me I would say something to appease the child but later on quietly kick out the violent person. I would never let that person live in the same house and then go out on a trip ( ̄ヘ ̄;)

    lol January 9, 2026 3:39 pm

Sorry, but I laughed at the "pubic" T~T

RoseBourbon December 7, 2025 2:41 pm

Even though I hate Donna the mother in law is also kinda annoying. It makes sense though because she did raise that scumbag husband ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

RoseBourbon December 5, 2025 6:26 am

What is up with these authors and making a parent child relationship into lovers??? No common sense. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
