Call me crazy, but I think Astana would actually make a good king. Sure he def needs a few reality checks beforehand, but he’s got a fairly good head on his shoulders once he’s out of his mother’s shadow
Yes I do agree that other than his upbring, this character is good for a decent king w the right teachings. Best scenario is like you said if he steps out of is mom's shadow and locks in, then Perez n Tia can get tgt coz of the rule that if one become king, wife have to be queen.
Or Perez breaks that rule and happy ending lolz
It's a possibility... but personally I don't think so... because what makes him dislike his mother's control is how spoiled and self important he is... not thinking what she and her family does is wrong and it will be bad if he as future king is controlled by them...
He could have a redemption arc, sure... but I think with his personality he'd end up on the tyrant's route... I can see him as king refusing useful and good advice from subjects and punishing them for "trying to control him"... but honestly idt Perez would be a good king too... not whithout a woman besides him spurring him to. The Brown girl in the OG and Tia on this timeline... I think he'd be an ok king because of a sense of responsibility but not a good one because to him becoming king/emperor was a means to an end and not his goal...
Well his mom and dad are both fairly smart people so you couldve said the same about them. The problem is that both theirs upbringing transformed them into the current person they are- however vile it may be. Same for astane, though he has potential with all that brainwashing the empress has done, he's fucked!! Basically forever. Fucked up generations of parents fs

Ok this is a good story n I love ash but I’m 85% done n I have no clear idea what’s going on cuz she’s so clueless. The characters’ lack of expression n visible emotions does not help either. I have theories n assumptions about the story that’s it
