Okay I haven’t read the novel but from just the last few chapters what I BELIEVE happened:

From my understanding there’s our MC and his doppelgänger. MC is actually originally from the game world but got switched with his doppelgänger in their childhood and was living in the real world while his doppelgänger went to the game world. They got swapped back to their original worlds (see doppelgänger going to the interview and meeting the real world’s Jehee, I assume this event happened simultaneously when our MC just woke up in the game world too).

When MC used his skill and ‘died’, he followed the watch given by Jehee to return not only to his world (aka the game world) but also to the timeline where HIS Jehee would be there. MC doesn’t remember Jehee because Jehee regressed after his sacrifice.

+ Also it looks like Jehee regressed back to the moment where our MC first woke up in the ‘game’ world aka the beginning of this story. So it’s a circular narrative where the end of a story loops directly back to its beginning which I think is pretty neat.

I imagine the novel was probably way better in the pacing of this. I’m upset at how some manhwas get rushed these days orz

The novel is the same author as Passion series. I love Yuuji’s works and this one didn’t disappoint too. Novel had in total 5 volumes which I completed within a week. So far the storyline of the manhwa adaptation is …interesting, the events are kinda out of order from the novel but I’m still excited to see where this goes ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Story is wonderful but I can’t stop obsessing over the art too. I find myself pausing at every page to zoom in on the details, just taking it all in. Does this mangaka have any work outside of BL too because I need to read everything by them asap

I’ve always have this gut feeling that Teach also isn’t really normal either. Wonder if Guwon really was the one who killed his father. Also we don’t know who Teach really was before the amnesia, he could have been crazy too lol Crazy x Crazy would be great, a match made in hell

Read the raws til chapter 18 and apparently next one is the last. I personally really enjoyed this, hope MC gets his wish in the end lol

"Him? Who?"

Jaegyeom asked, frowning

The uninvited guest left the room in a short time as promised to Mesan. Then, he took out something from his blazer pocket and handed it to him.
Mesan asked what it was, and the uninvited guest said, "If you say it's a present for the collection of stickers, he will understand." Mesan translated his words exactly as they were.

"H- He said it was a present for the collection of stickers."

Jaegyeom's face hardened slightly.

"..."

He stared at the music box in silence, and tugged the wind-up like before. Then the melody that had stopped started to flow again. He held it in his hand and shook it lightly, and the snow in the dome fluttered again. It was a strangely calming song.
While listening to the song quietly, Jaegyeom opened his mouth.

"What song is this?"

"It's 'Dreams of Love'!"

Jaegyeom's face became ambiguous.

..."

At some point, the melody stopped. Jaegyeom, who was silently looking at the small cabin where snow was fluttering, touched the wind-up again. Ring, ring, the music that had stopped flowing again. He murmured after a while.

"Crazy guy."

"Reap the nightmares."

Heukje, who had bowed his head respectfully, raised his eyes. No one was named, but his eyes turned to the bed. The boy, who had been calmed down by Yoon Taehee's touch, was drifting in his dream, crying again.

At Yoon Taehee's words, Heukje replied curtly,
"Yes." and bowed his head. Compared to Saero or Paehyeon, Heukje was a spirit of few words. Even when Yoon Taehee summoned him, he never asked why, and always just stood by and remained silent even while Paehyeon and Saero growled and quarreled. Likewise, Heukje did not ask questions like who this boy was and why he was trying to get rid of nightmares. He just did what he was told.

"Let him only see good things. Let him only hear good things."

Yoon Taehee used his fingertips to brush over the boy's bangs, which were wet with sweat and clinging to his forehead, and stared at the boy blankly.

"Even when he closes his eyes."

At the end of those words, Yoon Taehee turned around without hesitation.

Surprisingly one of my small favourite moments in the novel. Yoon Taehee didn’t know it then but he was already starting to fall in love

In chapter 11 of the manhwa when Raymond wonders who were the predecessors before him and it focuses on Jerome I see what you did there artist!!! This story is so horrible but seeing them trauma bond and find comfort in each other after everything that happened… it’s bittersweet I’m just happy that they found happiness in their own fucked up way.
