I really like gantz. But the sexualized and objectified drawings of female on the first page of almost EVERY FUCKING CHAPTER turns me off. It's disgusting and detracts from the story

Agreed. The story was great but I dropped it too. For me it will be so much better with no romance in it. Its like a waste of panels. Im just here for the ending.

The drawing is cute. The couple is cute. But the rape is not. I'm tired of seeing authors dismissing the rape in the comics and framing it as something funny or romantic (in some cases). It's sending out the wrong message towards readers, and it is in a way fetishizing gay relationships. I love to read BL comics, but it ruins the fun when seeing rape and harassment being excused or dismissed. I wish these authors would be more informed and aware about the message that they are sending by excusing rape. :(
This comic is a tragic mess. I don't know if it's because the author is inexperienced or just terrible at writing. Songwoo is overly paranoid and cautious about the whole book thing, and some interactions between the characters are forced and cliched. Seriously, the comic is cancer. (〜￣△￣)〜
