My reasoning is a little weird, but stay with me here. I've had mostly emotionally unstable male figures in my early life, which led me to believe that men had no other emotions besides anger. So I never knew stuff like BL/Yaoi existed (much less gay people since I live in a very conservative state), but in middle school, I met a girl who I quickly became friends with that showed me my first ever BL, The Deliverance of the Counterattack. I was HOOKED, and she helped me navigate Mangago at that time, showing me the tag features, community...... reply
Is it just me or has the BL genre become kind of..stale?? Nothing really speaks to me anymore, maybe it’s just the lack of stories that I actually like, but I really feel like it’s the entirety of BL as a whole. Someone please back me up on this.
