Since Carcel decided he will go to war to win an untouchable position, Miguel no longer had to be sacrificed. Carcel also wants his brother to experience a marriage with love so he cuts off the option of Miguel entering a loveless marriage to save the Escalante family.
Does he find love?
Good to know he still cares for his brother. I was hoping their relationship is not bad, seeing how carcel is, I was hoping they get along well as siblings.

Miguel marries someone he loves later. They have two daughters who look like Carcel so Ines is very fond of them. It’s just like Carcel is very fond of Ines’s niece (Luciano’s daughter who looks like Ines (green eyes and black hair) whom Ines and Carcel also babysat in the first timeline when they were married. Her name is Raphaela and she’s born in every timeline since technically it should only be one life.) But Ines and Carcel’s daughter also look like Ines and has Ines’s personality. It’s just that she has blonde hair and green eyes. However, she’s just like her mother.
Carcel cares about his family. Remember Carcel is the one who stayed with his brother throughout the funeral when Viviana died. Carcel is also the one who got his brother into the military academy and will continue to support him in that way. Keep in mind though that since Carcel is six years older than his brother, he thinks of Miguel as a kid at times. Carcel was also raised as an heir so he was taught to do his duty as heir of the family so sometimes he can be a bit cold.
This is about to get good :)))
