I think around300-400 only im pretty picker, if reading 1-3 chap count in every 60+chap then over 800, but if i need to read every damn chapter only 3-4 hundred only.

And my most read manga is moriaty the Patriot, everytime they update new chap i have to read every single chap or dam of the forest

I used to LITERALLY INHALE isekai manhwas. Like none of it was safe from me too bad I never recorded down which ones I've read. But I have recorded down what/how many bls ive read and im at 547 atm so plus all the isekai ive read and other genres it's probably plus 1000.
Anyways, I've toned it down a bit these days but a few moths ago I would reread rainbow city EVERY SINGLE DAY like the morning newspaper. I think im at 18 times already ITS SO GOOD.

Ive read rainbow city so many times I can probably name every single character including the ones in the novel + the location names

It’s mostly bl manhwas idk I feel like Korean authors are usually very problematic have like rape or incest kinks. Usually getting exposed for like being racist . Not a lot of BL manhua or manga have such a big issue with rape and they usually have better storylines.

It targets a certain audience that loves sex and usually fetishizes gay men, so that audience will eat up any sex scene between men even if its rape. A big plus if the mc (the rapist) is handsome, that'll get them to fold quicker and forgive. (*cough* jinx, bj alex *cough)

Usually the author will give some wack ass 'redemption' to the rapist and inevitably the other character will forgive, move on and live happily as if nothing had happened. The people reading it will fold and love the 'love story'. If you speak out how much you hate it people will shun you (hi i almost got doxxed for saying i h8 bj alex in 2019 lol) and yeah. Those people are die hards, better to not interact as they 99% of the time can't have a normal conversation with you about what they're even reading

The answer is simple, there is a large audience who are willing to pay for it. As long as there is demand for it, authors will keep making it.

Plus, it's not a BL problem alone. Recently I've seen there is a large amount of Pornwhas being uploaded on mangago. And they are even 1000 times worse than BL manhwas. I'm still traumatised by it.

You should try BL books.id recommend “the secret lives of country gentlemen” 90% are healthy relationships that still have the angst. Audible is great and cheap if you don’t enjoy sitting with a book
