Yes, exactly. I don’t think MC will have a life as bad as the MC in “even if you don’t love me” but seeing characters living in insurmountable debt from loan sharks and living in abject poverty while working multiple part time jobs and still going to school full time doesn’t make sense to me. So many people in his position would lose their minds. But I’m curious to see if ML is going to torture him while he’s under forced captivity. I just feel bad for MC overall
