God I hadn't read this since i was a child and reading it again i just LOVE Nanami. She's not the "I'm not like other girls" archetype, she's girly, kind, loves her girl friends, girl talk... she falls in love without any shame even if she's rejected, standing strong on her feelings without forcing him to accept her. She's not physically strong, specially smart or an insane beauty... but she has her strength in her heart and the people she loves she's just so wholesome. I love how even if she was insecure of the way she looked to tomoe she didn't let that define her worth I just love her so much she's so human. I understand why she inspired Tomoe's humanity, wanting to feel the way she feels. She's gorgeous.
