It's sad how I see the robots position in this. Imagine, your only made of wires and whatever, on top of that a copy of someone else. And another, you want to be with someone but if you do it'd only feel like your wanted and chased for life, getting tracked down, every minute counts.
It's also sad for the mc's part. Imagine preferring the robot cus he's much better, but then again he's only a robot. God knows when he'll stop functioning cus repair is out of the options cus that would mean that the original Chitose and the copy would need to meet again. But what if they coaxe him to return robot Chitose, resulting to them never meeting again. Though there is the original, there's just an ache of the thought that it isn't the same as with robot Chitose.
