I just went and retagged everything, I was only really currently reading things that were actively being updated so I could find them in their general genre tags. Took a few hours, but whatever. For the "already read" list, I've just left it to divine providence.
Only the things I accidentally tagged or rated. The rest (95% of my reads) has not.
Mine has returned, but only the old items have come back. The items I added at the beginning of the month haven't returned.

If you UNFOLLOW it, then yes, it will disappear, because that information will overwrite your previous one. It's the same as when the lists still showed up; if you clicked on a manga's info and changed from "want to read" to "reading", or unfollowed it, etc, that new info is an overwrite over the old one. You could have saved a manga in 2021 then, ......
I'm not sure if, while waiting for everything to return to normal, if I unfollow the things I've clicked on, they will disappear completely once everything is back to normal.
