sangwoo is the most autistic man i've ever seen in a webtoon. love him for that <3
that was so cute??? honestly jerry was a pretty likeable mc throughout. despite the position he was in, he maintained relationships with the people he loved and worked hard to achieve his goal. i love how he was clever and thought things through, but not genius-smart. his friendships were all really sweet!
i like how this webtoon played with genre tropes a bit. the brothers being "love interests" was weird, yeah, but not that crazy compared to some other isekai romantasy stories i've read...
often the mc's older brothers are either overpowered side characters, love interests of the original mc, or so relentlessly doting and overprotective that they clash with the actual love interest(s). it was interesting to see a character so aware of that, but actively trying to have a genuine familial relationship regardless.
and it worked??? when the brothers' routes were deleted, i almost cried. it felt like jerry had finally found a place to belong, instead of seeing himself as an outsider in the world. also, the levity with which they addressed the system later on was so fucking funnyyyyy like ilya just straight up YEETING the window whenever he saw it. omg i was wheezing
overall, i think this was a really engaging story. the characters were a lot of fun and the main themes (changing one's fate, belonging, "true" love) came through pretty well. the pacing was a bit off at times, especially near the end, but it wrapped up neatly. i'm also a sucker for a happy ending and proud of it lmao
with the old director, desmond, and (possibly) authen all meeting and anya running wild... are we finally going to get someone who recognizes subject 007?

but aside from that horrible foreshadowing, i actually really loved the side characters in this chapter. it often feels like the main characters are the only powerful people in the world/the only ones who matter, but i liked how the side characters also have a crucial role in this plan.
