yeah old stories were more fluffy, now almost everything is about rape and if you don’t see it than you don’t read much of this genre, and that’s totally fine lol almost good for you! i read this genre everyday and as i already said almost every new story has rape in it. pretty much sure i’m preaching to the right religion lol.

yeah that’s also true if we’re talking about really old yaois, but from 2015/2020 i think there were more good well written stories, like the firsts manhwas were really good… then something went horribly wrong.

Also Codename Anastasia is made in 2012. Korean manhwa "right now" tend to have so many unnecessary over violence and sexual assault, yes I agree. It's because of the rage bait they need to hype the story. Aggressions creates tension. And that's their favorite trope. In the end it's all about money.
