Hi guys, is it worth reading? I just came across this after finishing The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family. It’s about him and his grandfather’s story, and I really loved it.
The story has changed, and so has the cover. Both characters now look unhappy, facing away from each other against a wintery background that feels cold without a single cherry blossom in sight. Is this going to be a long, chilly, heartbreaking arc?
I love this so much. His resilience, his determination, and how he just refuses to give up. Every setback only pushes him to grow and rise higher. He never has a victim mindset and isn’t afraid to ask for help. I wish we all had a bit of his strength to face this journey called life.
I really love this story—it’s so surprisingly sweet! Could someone recommend a similar one, with no toxic themes or assault? I’d love something just as cute.
The novel is not just dark, but pitch black—intense and haunting and raw. It’s heartbreaking to witness how love can mean something entirely different, even to two people standing side by side.
Jamie’s relationship with his dad is so heartwarming and genuine. It’s the kind of connection I’ve always dreamed of. Strange how we tend to yearn most for the things we’ve never experienced.
