naah i know what you mean, but i think you meant to say he has personality & a backbone compared to other manhwas with a poor uke (outcast) & rich seme (mafia boss) setting. the protagonists are usually incredibly passive, people pleasers, pushovers &/or spineless with crippling debt. they're all damsels in distress just waiting to be saved. he's the exact opposite. yet contrary to his boldness, he's not very smart but that's what makes his character raw & intriguing. i'm sure the author will continue to throw curveballs at us as the story unfolds.

About the situation he is in you gotta take into account that out of them all the ml is the gold egg laying chicken, he is loaded and generous, compared to selling yourself to everyone its less of a mental charge (not that it isn’t one obv) but it is also way less dangerous as you don’t know about strangers and how twisted or ill intended they might be. Tf with you, you couldn't tell if the person has trauma or thalassophobia, these aren't to be taken lightly, even ppl with water related trauma can faint immediately the moment they fall into the bodies of water.
