I often wonders if SamK was on drugs or something during this novel lol. It's wacky, confusing, funny (in earlier chapters) and all over the place. Worst thing is they established mc as an excellent soldier but we don't get to see/read many scene that backed that statement. And then there is this current island arc which didn't make sense in novel nor making any sense in the manhwa. Samk's stories starts on a good note but towards the end it loses the plot, it happened with for you who grieves, half of me, even payback but payback somehow managed. It's like indian soap operas like once the og plot of the show is over the creators don't know what to do with the storyline anymore and they start with random new arcs that make no sense whatsoever.

yeah fully agree. in fact i didn't even like december that much cause of the reason that the plot and characters fell flat. and payback might be popular but its ending was so.overwhelming. all.yhat build up for a whole lot.of nothing. its giving wattpad. but SamK is still better(?) than Zig whose writing I dislike even more (kiss me liar/kiss me if you can and all that other stuff author)

Honestly I feel like the author should’ve at least tried to make MC more overpowered in the fight scene cause let’s be so fr, all that hype just for nothing to happen to the MC cause of his alpha overpowered bf is honestly just disappointing, like I love the idea of the plot and it was good at the start but it definitely just gets wonky at the end. There’s also some plot holes and stuff that also need to be covered. I also think that this love island arc would be a pretty fun side story, the problem is that it’s not really a side story but just a continuation of the story and it just makes no sense at all
I can't even imagine how did 19 days fans have gone through chapter 350 to 380 that's like two years time the way that manhwa gets updated. The agony those fans have gone through, they have my respect man, cause I can't handle angst well. It was difficult for me even for someone who just got into reading manhwa like 3yrs ago and I have good 380-390 chapters to binge read.
