I often wonders if SamK was on drugs or something during this novel lol. It's wacky, confusing, funny (in earlier chapters) and all over the place. Worst thing is they established mc as an excellent soldier but we don't get to see/read many scene that backed that statement. And then there is this current island arc which didn't make sense in novel nor making any sense in the manhwa. Samk's stories starts on a good note but towards the end it loses the plot, it happened with for you who grieves, half of me, even payback but payback somehow managed. It's like indian soap operas like once the og plot of the show is over the creators don't know what to do with the storyline anymore and they start with random new arcs that make no sense whatsoever.

Honestly I feel like the author should’ve at least tried to make MC more overpowered in the fight scene cause let’s be so fr, all that hype just for nothing to happen to the MC cause of his alpha overpowered bf is honestly just disappointing, like I love the idea of the plot and it was good at the start but it definitely just gets wonky at the end. There’s also some plot holes and stuff that also need to be covered. I also think that this love island arc would be a pretty fun side story, the problem is that it’s not really a side story but just a continuation of the story and it just makes no sense at all
She has so many options but all of them are trash one way or the other.
It's been a long time since I finished the novel but didn't they get freaky even in chi young's wolf form? Like I specifically remember heeseong taking care of chi young's duties while he rest in his true form and this freaky wolf kept licking him under the table and making love to him in his wolf form. That sudden bestiality got etched in my memory ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

For this story I'm glad I read the novel first. So I can connect all the dots. These scenes were so detailed and more intriguing in the novel. The stakes are high for MC too. He can very well die here cause so many heartless variant of this calibre is not just difficult to tackle but out right fatal. It's literally do or die situation for him, he's very well on a suicide mission. That soldier who grabbed MC was actually crushing MC's bones with his inhumane strength and MC has taken serious damage on his shoulder from this but I didn't get any of that vibe from this chapter. And all those american soldiers were wearing sun glasses cause their eyes can give away the fact that they are all heartless. But their eyes are shown normal here.
