It's like a Creepypasta website where anyone can upload various ghost stories that may be connected to each other and may have alternate solutions of beating the story and have various casualty numbers if at all. Then, the MC gets sucked in at a merch pop up store of the story universe and has to go solve various ghost stories to earn points at the pharmaceutical company and go back home.
It's kind of like the movie Monster Inc. where they collect screams from kids but in this case they collect the essence of the ghost stories to turn into various medicine or turn the essence into something that can grant wishes.
In addition, we have a government organization that tries to stop the ghost stories from attacking the world and a cult that worships a so called higher being related to ghost stories.

So basically… he’s there just because of the plot? Like there’s no incoming doom or smthg is attacking the earth etc… so is it only him and the few selected others that were sucked into that dimention or is it all of people on the earth?
Also im confused, the dimension he is sucked into is like the fanfic world of his fav game(?), he needs a wishing ticket to get out but who are those administratives, why r there people working inside that dimesion, same people on earth or the characters inside the story? And like, what happened to the Original Story(?),
The reason im so confuse is why did he get sucked there on a random Tuesday, is it just him n few GS fans or is it all people on earth, that dimension was creates through multiple fanfiction, so the thing is helping him is from the original? And so the plot is basically fight ghost, earn money, buy ticket? If yes why does he has to go through all lf that? Hes just an unlucky fan… even if he died during the mission, what even is the purpose of this dimension?
I'm not sure yet if the novel will clarify that part since I've only read half of what's been released so far, but so far, it's pretty much the same concept as other people entering a novel or game's world either after falling asleep or after dying. They might end up years before the start of the story or they might end up somewhere in the beginining of the story either as a minor character, a villain, or a new character entirely.
So like with those stories, the original story of course gets changed in certain ways with Soleum's actions. Maybe we'll learn the truth in when season 3 of the novel comes out. I did also see that there are some hidden circumstances surrounding Soleum's identity and what actually happened when he got transported to this world.
He's the only one to enter this story universe. He decides to get the wish ticket since it's his best chance of getting back home and because he is extremely scared of ghost stories except when it is just text that he is reading. If he were to run away, there is a chance that he might get involved in ghost stories alone. But with the company at least, he can work with other teammates to survive and get access to equipment that could increase his chances of survival.
There are a few reasons why there are people working for this crazy pharmaceutical company that sends them on suicide missions. First, some of them are knew about the items that they could potentially get from solving ghost stories, either inside the story or from the points they earn from getting ghost story essence. The points work in a similar manner to a point system that some real life organization's may have. You earn points to get some items like clothes, workout equipment, electronics, etc. But in this company, the items could be poison, weapons, elixirs, the wish ticket, etc.
Another reason is that people thought this was just a regular company that they applied to, only to be thrown into that crazy orientation with the train ghost story. Then, the survivors see that they could get the wish elixir so most if not all decide to stay since they have their own desires they want to fulfill.
At the very least, Soleum does have a head start because the merch shop lottery gave him some important items to help him which he will unlock throughout the story like being able to see the original ghost stories though of course, it won't help in cases where the story evolves or are in the process of evolving since the ghost stories on his phone are only shown based on what he has read.
Ahhhh i see, now i get the picture of it. Tqsm for entertaining my questions. Since there’s no clear establishment yet about why things are happening as it is, i think its best for me to marinate this before trying to digest whats going on in the story.

Since the beginning the ML was lowkey a homophonic straight chaebol. MC was his first MxM relationship and the rest is history. He never changed, he treats MC just like how he treats his past relationships. The only difference is MC is someone who is strong willed and equally stubborn.
After this revelation, the ML needs to triple his efforts to win MC back. We might have a time skip. I hope the next season will be when our MC is working like a corporate job.
